Shown above are some examples of my Compositing work from Star Wars The Last Jedi. At ILM SF we worked primarily on the end battle on the planet Crait along with the Resistance base interior and a fully CG chase sequence on the exterior of the planet Canto Bight. Some of the more creative work I got to take part in was getting the Crystal Fox creatures working with the plate photography. Their look evolved a lot over the course of the show and the treatment on the Compositing side was key to getting the look the Director Rian Johnson was after.
