Roland Emmerich's new WWII era film Midway is releasing in theaters this coming weekend.
I got the chance to jump onto this show and help out when I started with the folks at Scanline a few months back. I mostly assisting in the final stages of post doing tech checks and QC notes on shots to take them over the finish line. I also got to do some more heavy lifting on three or four fun shots, reworking them quite a bit to arrive at the client's vision; two of which were in this new trailer and can be seen below.
Emmerich's films are typically very stylized and heightened and this film is no exception, But I think it's gonna be super fun to watch in the cinema and the cast looks to be all in.
